There are several informative parts to this app, but the one page that makes it most worthwhile is the one where you calculate your BMR because in the final view screen, it lays out multiple scenarios at once. It shows you how many calories you are burning if you dont do any exercise but then the chart has a hierarchy of how many calories you can eat at higher and higher levels of exercise. When i am trying to stay on a diet, it is very motivating for me to see this because not only does it show me exactly how much more food I can get away with eating and still lose weight, but it also shows me how much of a deficit in calories I can create through exercise while eating the same amount of calories as I always have. Most apps will only show a final bmr number, not the degrees of activity with each bmr for that activity level. I also appreciated the common sense, modest advice pages listed at the bottom for people wanting a refresher on how weight loss biologically works. This app makes things simple while still containing details like converting how many minutes you at your current weight would need to do any of the listed exercises in order to burn a certain number of calories. Pretty nice. If the makers of this app are looking for something to add into the app in the future, there used to be an adjustable graph online that showed if you, at x weight/gender/etc, eat x amount of calories, then it will take x amount of months/weeks/days to achieve x weight loss goal. That was very inspiring and I havent run across an app that has that yet. Still, overall this is a good app.
I have been using a number of fitness apps for weight loss, this one is probably one of the most informative and answers a number of questions that go unanswered in other apps. Extremely comprehensive and well laid out, easy to use and well worth the small cost. This should be an essential app in anyones weight loss/fitness program. 5 Stars all around.

Some bad moments

The basic claims that upgrading will have 800+ exercises. No such thing. I upgraded and I did not see any exercise except bunch of informative articles. Do not waste your effort or money.
This app does exactly what I needed. I wanted an app that would calculate calories burned during a particular amount of exercise. This app does that, and more. It will tell you how many calories you need to consume to fuel various levels of exercise, as well as for weight loss. It also provides additional informational resources.
I am a Registered Dietitian and this is a helpful tool to use to quickly calculate calorie needs- I like that it has two equations so you can compare quickly between the two- also helpful to have different activity levels
Calculates BMI and a few other things and the rest is just articles on subjects.
Just downloaded this app. Working without difficulty. Lots of preloaded activities to calculate. I think its going to help me keep track of my weight loss. I gave it 4 stars because it doesnt have a way to log progress. I will review again after Ive used it a bit. Thanks for this app.
The developer has really made this a one stop app. You can now use the built in stop watch for your activity and log all your exercises. You will see immediately how many calories you burned. This app is feature rich. I use it for all my workouts and also for all the tools included in it. This has always been a good app. But the developer has upgraded it into a high quality, very worthwhile app. Dont let this one pass you buy. It will help you lose or maintain weight and get fit and healthy. Of all the fitness apps Ive used, I like this one best.
